The Process
I create approaches that work based on the unique needs of your organization and strive to set a tone for the process that is intentional, forward-moving, and empowering. Together, we can achieve the following:

  • Establish a clear vision with realistic expectations for your goals.

  • Pre-pave the way for successful efforts by identifying personal and organizational strengths that form direct bridges to successful outcomes.

  • Reenergize the team by capitalizing on their strengths and the value of their mission.

  •  Frame goals and identify action steps that are feasible and effective.

Diversity Goals
One of my areas of expertise is in diversity issues. Are you striving to improve your services for diverse populations and desiring a thoughtful, integrated approach?  Do your efforts around diversity go in spurts? Coaching organizations on their diversity goals incorporates the above-mentioned focal points, as well as the following:

  • Ways to integrate cross-cultural issues into all components of your strategic plan.

  • Using past cultural competency efforts that may have gone poorly as a catalyst for next steps and improved staff relations.

  • Engaging staff and board in creating the organizational culture that supports cross-cultural ways of working and serving the community.

The Right Fit
I’m pretty selective about the work groups I coach – mainly, because I know what organizations and goals I can be most effective with. Typically, the organizations I coach operate with integrity, respect the people who work there as well as their clients/customers, and contribute something of value to the community through their products or services. I prefer to work with teams that are at a crossroads and are looking to move into a new phase of development. I enjoy coaching businesses through transitions, because it’s an opportunity for them to recommit to the organization’s goals and get inspired to move into the next level of success.

Services
I am available to facilitate meetings and retreats related to your current plans, or I can create a productive and energizing workshop to lay a strong foundation for your goals. I also enjoy working with organizations in an ongoing capacity, tailoring my services to each stage of their development in relation to their vision. I provide full summaries of our work, including follow-up meetings or phone calls as needed. To start the process, you may request a free consult. I will come for a one hour meeting to hear what your needs are and explain how I would address those needs within a coaching framework. Business and Work Team Coaching can take different forms, depending on your needs.

  • One-time workshops or retreats (half-day or full-day)

  • Short-term regular coaching meetings (3-6 months)

  • Longer-term coaching services that incorporate regular meetings with small teams within the organization, as well as larger gatherings and retreats with the whole organization
